RACHNA promotes cooperation among business corporations, civil society groups, government and local communities to encourage innovative partnerships and projects for conservation of the Himalayan ecosystems. This includes building enabling environment to engage Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activates of the companies. For example, RACHNA has initiated a constructive dialogue among Hydropower sector companies, local communities affected by the projects and the state government to develop a strong hydropower policy and to establish a responsible hydropower sector in the Himalayas.
