RACHNA considers the visitors/tourists coming to the Garhwal region as key allies for conservation actions. RACHNA's community based tourism and conservation work plan process will help mobilize the concerns and reverence among visitors, for the Himalayas, into pragmatic and tangible action for serving this important ecosystem.
.
RACHNA will offer creative opportunities to visitor groups to contribute in conservation of the Himalayas. This would include activities such as planting trees, assistance in developing organic farms, and building green buildings/lodges, supporting environment friendly products and services by purchasing them, and providing support in environmental education and policy advocacy for effective conservation.
